These pictures show microscopic views of organisms that the students have been able to see with the microscopes in our classroom.  As we study the composition of cells we focus on the diversity of life illustrated at this most basic of biological levels. 

     All the cells we have looked at are characterized as eukaryotic, because they each have a nucleus.  Only bacteria have no nucleus and are classified as prokaryotic.
