Paramecia

In the video to the right, two rotifers move through a group of paramecia. This view is at 400 power. The paramecium at the bottom left is approximately 300 microns long.

The rotifers are microscopic multi-cellular animals, not single-celled protists like the paramecia.   Can you identify any features of the paramecium?

(The small protist at the top is called euplotes.)
