Chinook Band at Pacific Northwest Music Festival February 9, 2004 University of Washington Over 60 Band Members from Chinook attended the PNWMF at the UW. We played in beautiful Meany Hall, heard other groups perform, received clinics on each instrument and participated in an activity on the UW campus. Some students went on a tour of the campus, others went to the Burke Museum and still others went on a tour of the Athletic Department Facilities. At the end of the day, all of the students were in the audience for an incredible performance by the University Wind Ensemble. Part of the evening performance included an "honor band" which had students from the middle school and junior high bands sitting in with the UW Wind Ensemble. Two students from Chinook participated. All in all, it was a great day!
